HELLO JANUARY APPS!

Welcome, welcome! We just wanted to take a quick moment to fill you guys in on the current plot that's happening in the game, and also provide you with links to all the important posts. Please read below!

So first things first, January 25th marks the anniversary of the day Davy Jones died. Evidently, this means that around this time each year things around the world start to go a little...crazy.

At the end of December, we asked the players in the game to offer up characters to be possessed for the event. There was a sign-up post, and since then those players have been informed of plot details and such in secret, in an effort to keep the unfolding events a surprise for other players in the game. All everyone else knew was that there were eventually going to be possessed characters running around.

♦ On January 1st, this post went up in the journals.

♦ A similar post went up on January 3rd, except this time...there was a voice.

♦ January 5th brought with it a Dog post.

♦ And yesterday, January 9th, the first detailed mod post about the plot went up for all players to see. NOTE: that post contains plot spoilers! If you want to sit back and be surprised by everything, you might not want to read it.

♦ At the same time, we put up a player plotting post that you can certainly feel free to hit up!

♦ Yesterday was also the first time this mysterious figure made an actual appearance in the journals. And this is where YOU guys come in! Our new players! We don't want anyone feeling left out of the event, so just because your characters are only just arriving here doesn't mean they can't participate! There's a reason this woman is only appearing at Isla Empieza, and it's because that's where you are. Anyone who wants to jump on the possessed train, you are more than welcome to! After all...

Things are really about to get moving -- as you can see, the killing spree starts on January 11th. So if you would like to succumb to the Witch's power and join the possessed group, PLEASE COMMENT HERE AND LEAVE YOUR PLURK NAME. You also need to have the Mod Plurk added because that's where we've been doing our ~secret plotting~ stuff.

If this isn't your cup of tea, no sweat! You don't have to participate, or you can participate as an unpossessed character, too. The choice is yours! Luckily, there's a newly formed Welcoming Committee on hand to help people out during this crazy time, as well.
