CANON UPDATE

If ever you decide that you want to play your character from a point in their canon that is after what you indicated in your original application, just fill out the form below! Your character will be sent home to live through everything up until the new point at which you want to play them.
In the game, characters will disappear for a minimum of three days while they are being updated. It can be for longer if you want, but that's the minimum. The in-game explanation for their sudden disappearance is that they got swept overboard and disappeared into a sudden whirlpool that vanished as soon as they got sucked in. Where they reappear is up to you! It could be right back on their ship, or it could be a deserted island somewhere. It's a good thing they'll still have their journal on them!
For OOC purposes, it's probably a good idea to post over at
highseasooc and let your fellow players know what's up.
Copy/paste the text box below and change only what is in ALL CAPS!

Canon: The Legend of Korra
Original Canon Point: End of Book 2, episode 2
New Canon Point: End of Book 2 finale
Any Significant Changes:
Korra grows a lot as a character in Book 2, especially toward the very end. She is starting to learn patience, starting to learn that she cannot expect to run headlong into everything and have it go her way. She now knows that her gut instinct isn't always the right one, and that just because somebody supports her doesn't mean they're on her side. She has become a more mature young woman, though her fiery spirit remains. Korra is also now a killer, and has displayed that she is fully capable of going to extreme lengths when triggered to do so, such as when she twice very openly threatened to kill a judge who sentenced her father to prison. While the potential emotional repercussions of her ending Unalaq's life have not yet been explored in canon, it is likely that she will think on it extensively. She has also become a much more powerful bender, having been shown using more advanced techniques throughout the final battle even without the aid of the Avatar State.
Her final confrontation with Unalaq and the events leading to it have meant a lot of changes for Korra, and not just because she had to end his life. She has witnessed the story of the origin of the Avatar, and now knows that her abilities are thanks to Raava, the spirit of light who merged with Wan, the first Avatar. This becomes important later, when Unalaq merges himself with Vaatu, the spirit of dark, and tears Raava right out of Korra, permanently severing her connection with the past Avatars. Korra must then invoke the last and most powerful trait she has at her disposal: herself. She must channel her own spirit, her own cosmic energy, and take on Unalaq. There is no Avatar Spirit to boost her or guide her or give her all the answers. No deus ex Aang. No falling back on her identity as the Avatar and parading it like a title. Just Korra. This is a huge moment for her and for her sense of worth as a person. When she lost her ability to bend when fighting Amon, she immediately got it back, only reaffirming that yes, being the Avatar is the most important thing she could possibly be. When she saves the free world from chaos through nothing but her own personal strength and energy? That changes everything for Korra's personal view as herself. After the battle, she willingly gives up her role as the bridge between humans and spirits, leaving the entrances to the Spirit World open so that the two worlds may permanently link. This is a long ways away from the obnoxious kid who paraded through Republic City, toting her title as an excuse for destroying property in the name of vigilante justice.
Korra is now a young woman independent from her Avatar self. She still accepts her title with enthusiasm, but it is no longer everything that she is.
Her personal relationships have also changed and evolved. Obviously, her positive ties with Unalaq have been completely severed. She thinks him to be a power-driven crazy man at this point, and kicks herself for ever trusting him in the first place. Korra has truly realized what a valuable mentor Tenzin has been to her, and the two are on better terms than ever. Her relationship with her parents has also healed in the wake of her father's name being cleared of any guilt involving the spirit attack on the Northern Tribe. She has severed romantic ties with Mako completely, having realized that their relationship "doesn't work."
It is also important to note that she has been rebound with Raava, so she is again capable of bending the four elements. She still cannot, however, access the connection to her previous lives.

Canon: Gatchaman Crowds
Original Canon Point: Post episode 6
New Canon Point: Post episode 12 (extended version)
Any Significant Changes:
Hajime hasn't visibly changed at all. A year has passed, but aside from having a different color scarf as part of her school uniform, she's still the same old Hajime on the surface. She's still relentlessly cheerful, she still babbles aimlessly and sings to herself nearly constantly, she still peppers her conversation with non sequiters that mean more than they seem. For anyone who doesn't know her well, you'd just have to take her word for it that time has passed at all.
In truth, though, Hajime has been through a lot. When she left there had only been some talk of an evil Gatchaman, but she hadn't given it much thought. She was more focused on what a superhero's role should be in modern society. Little did she know that reconciling her ideas on the matter with those of Rui Ninomiya, the boy who posed the question to her in the first place, would become necessary to save the world. Rui felt that there was no need for superheroes and that all of mankind could be inspired to step up and become heroes on their own instead of relying on a chosen few, but Hajime felt that everyone having something to offer the world as a collective meant that superheroes had their own special something to offer as well. In a way, both were right. The “evil Gatchaman,” they were about to face, an alien known as Berg Katze, was hellbent on turning humanity against itself and bringing about the destruction of Earth and the Gatchaman team and Rui's Galax social network site were Earth's last line of defense.
Katze and Hajime were like two sides of the same coin. Both child-like to the point of obnoxiousness, both whimsical and eccentric, but with opposing views of humanity. Where Hajime was a creator, Katze was a destroyer. Where Hajime operated on utmost faith in mankind's ability to work together and improve its existence, Katze relied on its ugliness to set it against itself and bring about its downfall. Possibly due to this, Hajime was not able to actually see Katze at first, not even his avatar on the Galax app. That didn't stop her from seeking him out to talk, though. When they first met, he posed a riddle to her, asking what the sweetest, most delicious thing was, with an answer of “other people's misery” in mind. After all, we all get tired of hearing about people's happiness, but never of hearing about their suffering, right? It wasn't too difficult for Hajime to figure out (though it was an excellent excuse to eat a lot of cake), and in the process she developed a strange sort of sympathy for Katze. She saw him sort of as a bored, lonely child, trying to get attention in any way that he could. He was so convinced that she would have to destroy him to defeat him, but that only showed that she understood him far better than he was capable of understanding her.
In the wake of the chaos Katze inflicted on Tachikawa, Hajime realized that it fell to her to take care of him once and for all. She became very withdrawn (for her) and began leaving half her meals and complaining about being hungry again, something she hadn't done since before becoming a Gatchaman. For Hajime, it was a sign of boredom and feeling incomplete and most likely stemmed from what she knew had to be done to defeat Katze and his influence once and for all. She said her goodbyes in her usually roundabout, cryptic way, even calling her mother to tell her that “no matter what happens” she'd “always be herself” and went to the train station to face down Katze once and for all. In the station, he attempted to taunt her and wear her down, but she stood firm in the face of his words, not allowing them to affect her and wearing down his confidence instead until suddenly she became aware of where he was. She reached out with her scissors and cut off his hair, then turned and kissed him, turning his method of manipulating humans against him and somehow banishing him, leaving only his Note, the physical embodiment of a Gatchaman's soul. What happened next was pure Hajime. She took Katze's Note and shoved it into her chest, forcing his soul inside her so that he could never break free to cause trouble again. In doing this, she became able to hear his voice in her head, but rather than letting his constant taunting and insults get her down, she took it as an opportunity to show him how fun life could be. And that's what she's spent the last year doing.

Canon: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Original Canon Point: After the party's returned from Plegia to Ylisse in the wake of the death of the Exalt. (Chapter 11)
New Canon Point: Chapter 20, where this time Ylisse is threatened by forces from the neighboring continent of Valm, and thus takes the battle directly to the Valmese conqueror, Walhart.
Any Significant Changes:
It's roughly two years later since Chrom has been named Exalt. Although not particularly detailed what's happened in those two years, it can probably be safely said that Gaius has continued under the employ of Chrom and the Shepherds during that time. He's probably gotten closer to those who have also joined them, and gotten more used to looking out for others as well as being looked out for in turn. While his skills as a thief have still been put to good use, such as being an informant and the occasional lockpick, but he's also been in and out of acquiring other skills as well.
With this new impending danger of Valm and the exploration of new territory, Gaius has also become aware of the idea that there are portals to other instances of their world and then some, as well as the possibility of time travel, the latter namely because they've got the future spawn of some of their Shepherds running around the land, all with the same intentions of trying to prevent a dark future where the Fell Dragon Grima wreaks havoc and chaos. Even though by this time Gaius knows that there's more than just surviving and having good pay and delicious sweets, to know that things are so bad and that such a future hinges on their current actions is as much of an eye-opener as anything. Failure isn't an option, and neither is the death of any of those he's come to call companions.
Jumping back to the subject of portals to other worlds, such is how they get their hands on a mysterious scroll that allows one to basically change job classes and be able to learn how to use magic aside from skills in stealth and in using a blade, namely the Dread Fighter class. It's a class Gaius takes to quite well considering he's already been handy at a blade and at stealth, and with the additional use of magic, he's pretty much become something of a ninja-mage. He has access to Anima magic, which ranges between wind, fire and thunder, as well as some nifty armor. Fun stuff. (The class change is more of a subjective thing because I spoiled Gaius in my game 9_9;; but he made an awesome Dread Fighter, man.)

Canon: Gin no Saji/Silver Spoon
Original Canon Point: Chapter 54/Autumn 23
New Canon Point: Chapter 91/Winter 28
Any Significant Changes:
The most significant change is in Hachiken's personality. During the winter chapters, Hachiken learns a lot about debt, how his friends cope with it and how businesses thrive or fail because of it. He also learns about enterprise, the cost of doing business through their sausage project. These experiences and seeing his friends struggle lead him to the ultimate decision: What he wants to do with his life. Hachiken has decided to start his own business, instead of going to college. Not only does he make this pivotal decision, as well as confess to the girl he likes, but he also takes the plunge, calling and speaking to his less than friendly father about the matter. Despite his father's usual barbs, Hachiken stands firm on the issue. He does not want to go to college and he wants to start his own agricultural company to put the hard work and lessons he's learned into a rich career.
Hachiken has not only found a purpose at this point but he gains a great deal of self-confidence, as well as confidence in his friends which he has proven at this point at least, cannot be shaken. Although his family turmoil is a bit more tumultuous, mostly because of Shingo's life choices, he has decided finally to assert himself, declare what he wants and go for it, consequences be damned. He is acutely aware of his own deficiencies, more than he ever was before and is taking strides to turn himself into a leader and remain someone his friends can depend on. He stands before a very large undertaking and he refuses to back down or even show fear. In this way, his personality has become more open and outgoing, he connects even easier with the people at Yezo and is even looking to live independently, out of the dorm and shelter of the school.

Any Significant Changes:
It's not a large amount of time between the two canonpoints, so there's more minor changes than major ones. Guy finding out what happened after he separated from the main party, etc. etc.
The most significant change is Guy discovering the root of his gynophobia, making it something he can actually overcome instead of just being a random weird fear. As he is currently, he doesn't know the reason for the fear.
The knowledge won't make said fear go away right away, of course, just make it a tiny bit easier to deal with.

New Canon Point: Post-Season 2, episode 22
Any Significant Changes: Physically, Leonardo will be the same as before. Mentally though his personality will be more or less the same, he is being pulled form a time where he and his family suffer a traumatic loss in the mutation of his sensei's daughter and his sort of crush Karai, who was mutated. He had the chance to stop her, but he decided to instead plead for her to let him help which in turn caused her to knock him out and for the series of unfortunate events that mutated her to be set in motion.
Due to this, Leo feels guilt-ridden and heartbroken by losing Karai. But it's not just that. He is under the assumption that his sensei, his father is angry at him for not trying to prevent him which just makes the self-placed guilt even stronger. When he returns to High Seas, it will be shortly after returning home after all was said and done. Therefore his guilt and pain is still going strong and it will be apparent to those who know him well enough. He will be mroe distant, more serious, more protective of the one family member that is with him, and he'd avoid any questions about what's wrong with him. Eventually he would clam down, but hiws inital return will have him very much not himself.

Canon: One Piece
Original Canon Point: Sometime in Impel Down
New Canon Point: Chapter 756
Any Significant Changes: Luffy has grown an inch and has acquired a cross shaped scar across his chest.
Mentally-- while he's still just as excited about islands and adventure and is just as much a goofball as he ever was-- but there's a definite sober air about him, too. He knows how it feels to be defeated repeatedly and lose people he really cares about. He knows that he has to be strong enough to not just do what he wants and punch people at the end, but actively protect the people that he cares about--especially as they go into the increasing chaos of the New World.
He's also more interested in allies than he was... well "allies", gathering people and working together...well "working together" to reach a common... well "common" goal. He's thinking on a slightly broader scale than he was before and really pushing forward to accomplish his goals-- with a much greater idea of just what is wrong with the world.

IT IS SPOILER HEAVY SO PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED FOR DRESSROSA ARC NAVIGATE AWAY LIKE RIGHT NOW!
When Robin first entered High Seas, it was while she was on her way out of the Tontatta Kingdom with Usopp, en route to meet up with Franky and Zoro. Gancho, the leader of the Tontatta Kingdom, tells Robin and Usopp about Dressrosa's history, a part of which dates back to the Void Century. Once they arrive at an underground cave in Dressrosa proper, "Soldier-san" reveals his plan and the part that the Tontatta- and consequently Robin and Usopp, will have in it. She infiltrates Doflamingo's SMILE factory and manages to distract Trebol, getting him to attack a group of pirates, before being revealed as an imposter. In the ensuing disorder, she attempts to incapacitate Sugar so that all the Dressrosa toys can resume their human form- only instead to be touched by the girl and turned into a toy herself. Later, Usopp manages to complete the operation and knock out Sugar, thus restoring her to being human and the memory of her nakama. She started to face off against Trebol again, but was interrupted by the coliseum gladiators taking Usopp and elevating him for all to see and proclaiming him their savior. Afterward, she tended to Usopp's wounds, and introduced him to her friends from the Revolutionary Army, who had recently arrived in the remnants of the SMILE factory: Sabo, Koala, and Hack. Not long after, Doflamingo trapped the entire island in a "Birdcage", and created something of a Battle Royale, with bounties on certain people's heads, Robin included. She and the others fled to the surface, and began trying to make their way to the King's Plateau. Her new canon point will be chapter 757, where she prepares to fight against Gladius and declares Luffy the trump card of their operation.

Canon: The Legend of Korra
Original Canon Point: Post Book 2: Spirits
New Canon Point:Post Book 3: Change
Any Significant Changes:
Personality wise, Mako has learned about his extended family and still living grandmother, thus he will be a little more open to talking about family in general without instantly thinking of his situation with Bolin and their deceased parents. He's also (likely) killed someone with his lightningbending, so that may have its ramifications but he'll be his usual self and not want to talk about it. He's shown his detective skills being put to good use, so that will be a little more prominent and his previous awkwardness when being around Korra has been shoved to the side in favor of her well being.
Physically, the only thing that's changed is that he no longer has his trademarked scarf.

Canon: Legend of Korra
Original Canon Point: End of Book 2
New Canon Point: End of Book 3
Any Significant Changes: Considering only about a couple of weeks have passed, her physical appearance isn't going to be changing at all. Mentally, however, her personality is going to remain overall the same, but a lot of things have happened in between, so there are going to be a few things to note. More particularly having to do with her friendship with Avatar Korra.
At the start of the series and throughout the first 2 books of it, most of Asami's relationships seem to be more centered on her unrequited romance with Mako, which just ends up disheartening her for obvious reasons. By the time Book 3 rolls around, Korra has to face a new threat (i.e. the Red Lotus trying to kidnap and kill her), as well as trying to help build up and restore a new airbending nation after Harmonic Convergence gives certain people these new found airbending powers. Asami, of course, offers to take Korra and the rest of the crew in her airship to search for these airbenders. More than half of her time is spent with, not Mako, but Korra instead as she tries to help assist her friend in several situations through the course of the book. At the end, after Korra defeats her new enemy and is confined to a wheelchair after being poisoned, Asami takes to taking care of of her; doing her hair, wheeling her around, etc. She even states that she's here for Korra if she ever needs anything, and although they were never technically on bad terms with each other before, this kind of close friendship wasn't present (with anyone) early on in the series. Also, for the first time in a while, since before her dad betrayed her, Asami's overall demeanor is a lot more happier. Especially since she's not very focused on any kind of unrequited love anymore, or at least not as much, or being too lonely and grows a lot more closer to her other friends, the Avatar more so.
Happier she may be, she'll be pretty worried and shaken up upon returning back.

KORRA BOOK 3 SPOILERS whoops I'm here again
Played by: Lauren
Canon: Legend of Korra
Original Canon Point: post Book 2
New Canon Point: post Book 3
Any Significant Changes:
Book 3 showcases Korra as a mature young woman who is a far cry from her earlier "shoot fire first, ask questions later" days in Republic City. She is still, however, plagued by confusion and uncertainty regarding her role in her world. This manifests more powerfully than ever during her encounters in Book 3 and their dark outcome.
Until this point, Korra's journey has revolved around her discovering herself and what it means to be the Avatar. This holds true in Book 3, as Harmonic Convergence has caused many nonbenders to become airbenders- the first who aren't related to Aang to exist in nearly 200 years. It has come at a cost for humanity, though. Even though she saved the world from ten thousand years of darkness weeks ago, Korra is being blamed by Republic City for the spirits who now heavily disrupt daily life in the city. It is obvious that her low approval rating is taking a toll on her. She expects that she should be able to fix this, (she's the Avatar!) but she's powerless to it. With some guidance from her friends and a not-so-gentle push from the president of Republic City, she sets off with Tenzin, who has become more of a father figure to her than ever, and the rest of Team Avatar to gather the new airbenders and help in rebuilding the Air Nation. This is to be her duty as the Avatar, she decides.
It's when this extended field trip is interrupted by four mysterious criminals that the driving force behind this arc's conflict is revealed. Korra quickly learns that these people, anarchists who call themselves the Red Lotus, are the true reason she was raised in captivity on the South Pole. This alleviates a good deal of her internalized tension with the White Lotus, her father, and Tenzin when it becomes obvious that the Red Lotus means to kill her and permanently end the Avatar cycle. Zaheer, the leader of this group, quickly proves that he means business when he kills the Earth Queen by using his newly gifted airbending to suffocate her. In their final conflict, Zaheer poisons Korra by forcing a deadly, concentrated amount of mercury into her body. With her dying body forced into the Avatar State, Korra breaks her bonds and fights Zaheer, eventually incapacitating him in an unheard-of display of physical endurance and bending ability along with the help of Toph's daughters and the new airbenders.
In spite of Suyin's last minute rescue in bending the metal poison from Korra's body and saving her life, the recent events and the poison itself have taken an great toll on Korra's physical and mental health. As goes with mercury poisoning, the strength and sensation of her limbs has been greatly damaged, leaving her trapped in a wheelchair and very sickly. Needless to say, she is heavily bruised from the fight. Then, there are the emotional effects. Mercury can be responsible for severe depression and personality changes, made obvious in Korra's complete lack of excitement for the ceremony that will anoint Jinora, who is like a sister to her, as the second airbending master since the extermination of the Air Nation. She only manages to put on a little smile at the excitement and affection of Jinora's siblings. She needs help functioning, doing day-to-day necessities. Standard symptoms of severe depression. This is certainly because of the mercury, but also because Korra is finally starting to break to the idea that the world doesn't need her, the Avatar, anymore. This is been a role she has always embraced, always wanted, and now three times since leaving the South Pole, there has been a significant threat to society based around the idea that she is holding society back. Amon, Unalaq, and the Red Lotus have all insisted this, and they have all almost won. In her frequent failings, like not being able to clear the Spirit Wilds growing in the middle of Republic City, the public's blatant dislike of her (6% approval right after saving the free world is pretty harsh), and now the reaffirmation that the new Air Nation is essentially going to be doing her job, Korra's self doubt isn't something she can deny or hide anymore.
All of these things, she can overcome. She is still an incredibly resilient young woman. But she has been put through the ringer, and needs to be pulled back from the end of her rope.
Throughout the course of her travels, it is also notable Korra learns how to metalbend from Suyin, one of Toph's daughters. She picks it up almost immediately, and has added it to her arsenal of bending abilities she implements in battle. That is, when she is actually able-bodied enough to do so.

Canon: Avatar: the Legend of Korra
Original Canon Point: Post Book 2 (Korra’s speech at the Southern Water Tribe).
New Canon Point: Post Book 3 (safe to say this form will contain spoilers)
Any Significant Changes: On the whole, Bolin’s personality hasn’t changed much between this canonpoint and the last. He’s still not the brightest bulb in the box, still very over-the-top emotional and excitable, optimistic, upbeat, terrible at reading people and in turn incredibly easy to read himself. What he has come into a little more freshly is some genuine confidence in himself and his abilities. Through the season we see Bolin struggle with his desire to metalbend, which he’s tried to do for years only to fail, and can see where he’s more or less resigned himself to being unremarkable in that regard. Not unhappy, but definitely frustrated with himself. Ultimately, by season's end, he doesn’t metalbend at all. He gets a new love interest, Opal, who encourages him to be himself instead of a horrible weird-sound-making guy when he's interested in a girl and wants to impress her, and he also takes a step up in challenging people, which is a change of pace.
Bolin and Mako have also found their extended family on their father’s side (as well as Bolin forcefully deciding to adopt a ragamuffin orphan, Kai, as their new little brother) by this canonpoint! It’s not to say they were alone in the world anymore after meeting Korra, Asami, and all the rest, but now they know they’re not completely unconnected to their parents or to a blood-related family. He’ll probably be very excited to share this with his crewmates or something, god knows him.
Overall, Bolin came out of Book 3 a little improved but not ultimately all that different! He has more genuine self-confidence and tries stepping up to the plate more, even if he doesn’t always succeed or have the best ideas when he does (his creativity and energy are occasionally successful in this regard where other tactics have failed the group). He’s more assertive with others and willing to challenge them on things, without steamrolling them with his own opinions in the process. Bolin is very light and even more openly excited about stuff than people than usual. We also learned that he can do some killer impressions of Mako and old people, and that he has no problems making casual conversation with deadly criminals who have captured him.
Abilities-wise, it’s dramatically unveiled in the finale that Bolin is actually capable of creating and manipulating lava! Didn’t really see that coming because they were geared towards his desire to metalbend all season, but it sure did become a thing. This holds to a lot of the natural limitations of earthbending, in that there has to be earth around to do it. And while Bolin was able to pick up the basics of making and manipulating it fairly quickly and on the fly, he’s far from being a master. He also still leans towards defense with it, probably because if he goes on the offensive he’s literally throwing face-melting magma at people and he’s not big on that? His bending seems improved overall from the first two books, though it’s obviously not going to be on any kind of master-trained level. He’s just gotten a little more effective at using it in combat situations, and at doing somewhat bigger things (launching people into the air with platforms, putting up walls, moving more general bulk, and making improbable precision shots with tiny rocks on occasion, etc. essentially, he's just been getting more practice and it shows).

Canon: Magi (still Sinbad no Bouken-era)
Original Canon Point: Immediately after chapter 27
New Canon Point: After chapter 35
Any Significant Changes:
Appearance
It's been a year and a half or so, so Ja'far is a several inches taller. His hair is more neatly cut and he's abandoned the tiny mummy look. He has to present himself as a merchant, so his clothes are new, clean, and well-kept. He still wears his wires on his arms and legs, though.
Personality
Ja'far's life has gone through a major upheaval in Sinbad's service and it's all due to a woman named Rurumu, the wife of Sinbad's other current lackey, Hinahoho. Rurumu has taken Sinbad and Ja'far under her wing and become their tutor. Under her supervision, Ja'far has become an avid student, especially of mathematics. He struggles with his reading and writing lessons at times, but he's discovered a love of numbers. Rurumu also drills the boys in etiquette, seeing as they're trying to be merchants and they need to learn how to draw in customers. She's beaten polite speech into Ja'far's head (occasionally literally) and he can sometimes go for several minutes before snapping and reverting to his old speech patterns. Even when he does, though, he doesn't scream his head off like he used to. He's become much better at managing his temper and his speech, but he still has a long way to go. His relationship with Sinbad has also improved, since they suffer together through the lessons. They're being raised together almost as brothers and Ja'far is certainly more tolerant of him now.
Rurumu has also provided something else important to Ja'far. She told him she considers him her first son, replacing the family he was forced to kill. He has someone he can consider a mother and a family that he wants to protect. He's placed in charge of Rurumu and Hinahoho's first son, his “little brother,” so to speak, and he takes the responsibility seriously, even though he finds it incredibly frustrating (largely due to the baby being as big as he is). In the most recent chapter, he laments that his skills as an assassin have gone rusty because of this new life, but when he accepts that that's not a bad thing, that it's okay because he's found people who care about him and that he wants to protect in return, he finds a new power within himself.
Abilities
Ja'far's daggers and wire have become infused with the power of Baal, one of Sinbad's djinn. The weapons have become the Household Vessel known as Bararaq Sei and can now be charged with lightning magic. This can be used to electrocute enemies and has shown the ability in later chapters to be able to break through magical shields that otherwise would have blocked a physical attack.

Looks wise there isn't much difference except her change in main outfit, but that is about as far as it goes normal physical wise. Only other major difference is the fact she physically can't transform at the moment because her power was taken from her. She has an emergency gem with magic given by Bloom that can grant her Bloomix should she do a good and courageous act that is worthy of a fairy.
There are only really one thing to note between her last canon point and this one since the difference is simply three episodes. The major change is the fact that Musa loses her powers and this has an impact in the fact that she is use to having her powers and having them to fight, but without them she has to change the way she has to fight, even with emergency magic that doesn't mean she can fight as well she she use to. While it doesn't seem obvious that it changes her personality, I feel like it would give her some understanding of having to adapt to the situation she was suddenly thrown into without much warning.

Canon: Pokemon
Original Canon Point: post XY with Sinnoh team
New Canon Point: post XY with Unova team
Any Significant Changes:
This isn't really a big change for Cynthia. There wouldn't be any significant changes to her world, and her appearance would still be the same as now. The only big difference would be her pokemon team. When she came in, I gave her the Sinnoh team. Which is Garchomp, Milotic, Lucario, Spiritomb, Togekiss and Gastrodon. They were basically her team throughout D/P/Pl. But I feel that some of her pokemon aren't really useful for this game's setting. Gastrodon is a water type, yes. But her set list is mostly stuff used while on solid ground, and Togekiss just doesn't work well with the whole pirate theme. So I'll be upgrading her team to the Unova team. More specifically, the BW team. Basically Togekiss and Gastrodon are replaced with Eelektross and Braviary, and everyone else is left the same. Because what could be more sea worthy than a very electric eel and a gigantic eagle.
As for Cynthia, she'd probably be home for the equivalent of a few months or so. I'm not sure what season it was when she left her world. But she only uses her Unova team during Spring and Summer. So I assume it'll be a few months wait before those seasons come. Other than that, no note worthy changes for her.

Canon: BlazBlue
Original Canon Point: Post True End of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift
New Canon Point: Post Episode 7 of Chronophantasma route of BlazBlue: Chronophantasma
Any Significant Changes:
Physical changes: None, unless you count the fact he'll be showing up with several stab wounds.
Personality/history changes: It's only around three weeks (most of which is off-screen traveling) for him, and while the events of early Chronophantasma don't actually change much about how Ragna behaves or feels about most things, it's not that the events of those weeks left no impression on him whatsoever. He made a difficult decision of killing his own little sister in order to bring down the NOL─ and in his naivety, he actually thinks he'd be able to do that. For that purpose, he began searching for an artifact called "Kushinada's Lynchpin", which he knows nothing about save for the assumption that, and I quote, "it must be pretty badass". While discussing the matter with Rachel over his foster mother's grave, they were interrupted by the Imperator (aka Ragna's little sister) herself. She made an offer to Ragna, promising to give him Terumi's head in exchange for joining her and becoming her servant; needless to say, he refused, although the very fact she made that proposal (going as far as pulling a cute little sister act, too) has remained on his mind ever since. After that incident, he and Taokaka finally reached the Allied Hierarchical Cities of Ikaruga, where they met a mercenary named Bullet... whom Ragna insulted to infinity and beyond before moving on. Losing sight of Tao, he ran into Tager, which resulted in a rather unpleasant conversation with Kokonoe, thanks to which Ragna found out both Noel and Tsubaki were in Ikaruga as well. Let's leave the part where he was hit on by Amane alone and focus on plot-related things; deciding the Izayoi would be a pain in his ass if left alone, he pursued Tsubaki and defeated her in battle, though was interrupted by Hakumen before he could destroy the Izayoi. One fight with his Little Brother 2.0 later, Hazama and Phantom showed up, the latter teleporting Ragna to Ibukido ruins where he was forced to fight against Nu-13 (now more crazy than ever before) as a part of Hazama's plan for making "adjustments" to the Murakumo Unit. Cornered by Nu, Ragna tried to activate his BlazBlue, but found himself unable to do so due to the Imperator using the Takamagahara System to cause a large scale phenomena intervention over the whole Ikaruga... and that's when our Grim Reaper will be getting dragged back to High Seas.
Of course, this being BlazBlue, this is just the main (read: most recent) timeline; numerous different timeloops occurred before that, though Ragna isn't aware of that, nor does he have any memory of those, save for random moments of déjà vu when the plot demands it.
Long story short? He'll be coming back as a ball of nerves, stress, confusion and what have you, probably more irritable than ever (if that's possible). Yes.
Abilities changes: Well, not so much changes, but rather Chronophantasma actually explaining some things. First of all, should Ragna ever lose control over his Azure Grimoire (or alternatively, on the Imperator's whim), he would change into a monster known as the Black Beast; however, unlike in his own world, it would be far easier to kill and not nearly as resistant. The reason for that is that in canon, the Black Beast exists outside of the BlazBlue world's "logic" and as such is immune to anything within it, making it practically immortal prior to the development of weapons that would also exist outside said "logic". Secondly, it appears the Azure Grimoire is corroding Ragna's body and soul at rapid speed, or to put it simply: killing him. It would probably be a good idea to assume the erosion process had been slowed down in-game; otherwise he should have been dead for quite a while already. Finally, if the Azure Grimoire was to ever stop working for any reason, Ragna would lose not only the access to Ars Magus or his Soul Eater ability, but he also wouldn't be able to move his right arm or see with his right eye, seeing as the right side of his body is already corrupted by the Azure.
Also his 2C is no longer Fatal Counter. Woe is me.APPROVED

Canon: One Piece
Original Canon Point: Chapter 513
New Canon Point: Chapter 730
Any Significant Changes:
Appearance
Sanji's two years older, 21 instead of 19, and as such he's a little taller and more muscular. His hair now covers his right eye, not his left, and it's grown longer, too. He's also actually managed to grow out his goatee finally.
Personality
During the timeskip, Sanji spent his time on Momoiro Island in the Kamabakka Kingdom with a whooooole lot of okama. He went two years without seeing any ladies at all, so when he first showed up after the two years, every time he saw a woman he would become way more overwhelmed than usual and nosebleed explode all over the place. It became something of a running gag during the Fishman Islard arc, getting to the point that he almost died and had to have a blood transfusion. Luckily, he finally seems to have regressed back to his usual flailing when in the presence of a girl.
Though now he's also sort of got what might be considered PTSD from his stay at Momoiro Island, which mostly shows itself when there are okama around.
Otherwise, his personality hasn't changed too much. Like the rest of the Straw Hats, he's a little more serious as they've learned more about what they're up against and that they can fail. All of them are more determined now, as well as more prepared to deal with the second half of the Grand Line.
Abilities
While he was on Momoiro Island, Sanji spent the two years fighting 99 Okama Kenpo masters to retrieve their recipes for Attack Cuisine. He's also now considerably stronger than he was before the timeskip. His attacks are much more powerful, and he's even able to spontaneously ignite either one or both of his legs at the same time to perform Diable Jambe, which means he no longer has to tornado spin to do so. He's even capable of igniting his legs underwater.
Sanji can do Blue Walk and Sky Walk now, which is when he travels at incredibly fast speeds either through the water or through the air. He also can do something called Hell Memories that makes his entire body to go up in flames when he remembers his time in the Kamabakka Kingdom.
The other big thing that Sanji learned to do during his time away is Haki, which is the ability to sense spiritual energy and overpower enemies. Sanji has shown that he can use Kenbunshoku Haki, which allows the user to sense the presence of others, even if they are concealed from view or too far to see naturally, and Busoshoku Haki, which allows the user to create a force similar to an invisible armor around themselves.

Canon: How to Train Your Dragon
Original Canon Point: First movie's end
New Canon Point: Second movie; after meeting Valka and getting acquainted with the dragons in the Alpha's nest
Any Significant Changes: Roughly twenty years old now, the Nightfury, although handicapped for half of a missing tailfin, has learned how to adapt better to flying both with his rider Hiccup as well as without, thanks to the Viking's ingenuity. He's gotten faster and still packs quite a punch with his brand of dragon fire. Like Hiccup, Toothless has grown quite a bit, although he's still a small to medium-sized dragon in comparison to others of his world.

Canon: How to Train Your Dragon
Original Canon Point: First movie's end
New Canon Point: Second movie – after having a surprise mother/son reunion into an abrupt introduction to the Alpha's ice nest
Any Significant Changes: Five years have passed since Hiccup's first venture into becoming a dragon rider, his influence inspiring the rest of his Viking village to accept dragons into their daily routines and Viking lifestyle. Hiccup himself became one of the founders of the Dragon Academy, traveling the land, seas, and skies with his Toothless and his friends to seek and learn more about the dragons they once warred against.
What Hiccup still lacks in weight is made up in height. He's tall enough to almost meet his father Stoick's gaze. One can even say he's grown quite handsome, but he still retains his awkwardness. Personality-wise, he has become a lot more independent, daring, and headstrong. (Not to mention being quite reckless as he's being daring and crazy.) Due to wanderlust, he's been shirking his duties around the village, focusing more on his individual interests while actively avoiding the chiefly mantle Stoick has been trying to bestow upon him.
He's also spent lots of time polishing some of his learned dragon taming skills (along with practicing nifty flying tricks with Toothless), using the dragon knowledge he's gained with his technical smithing skills to create
a monsternew weapons, tools, and whatnot. His hand-craftiness knows no bounds.*Also may be making a new journal if allowed to. Gotta get those icons done agh
